About

Connection, Support and Change

After over 20 years of experience working with children, teens and their families within a variety of settings, I have concluded that, LIFE IS HARD. My experiences with group homes, treatment programs and various community based services has provided me opportunities to support people at various stages of life and better understand and value the importance of establishing meaningful connections. In my work as a clinical social worker, my initial and primary focus is to build trusting relationships with the clients I serve. My goal is to support my clients in a way that is both validating and encouraging so that they can better navigate the challenges that life has created for them. Beyond that, I strive to guide them in identifying their goals in order to live a more healthy and fulfilling life. I hope to support my clients as they overcome barriers and identify strategies that can lead to a more healthy and meaningful life. I utilize a variety of modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution based, dialectical behavioral therapy and trauma informed practices to inform my work with children, teens, adults and their families.
